The magazine, whose target audience is chief information officers, compiles a similar list annually to recognise the technological accomplishments of the named organisations.

“The Bold 100 are innovators, leaders and precise executors,” said a representative of the magazine. “They took on a risk in a risk-averse climate because they could envision and calculate the reward.”

Other industry leaders on the list this year were Maryland-based Constellation Energy and Xcel Energy of Minnesota.

Arch and other award recipients will be honoured during a gala event to be held August 21-23 in Coronado, California.
