The contract will replace Bounty's existing contract at Aquila, German Creek.

Under the existing contract Bounty was providing coal production services to produce up to 500,000 tonnes of run of mine coal per annum for CapCoal under a full mine services contract, using the company’s thin seam mining capability.

The new contract provides Bounty an opportunity to increase production above 500,000tpa over the next 12 months.

It also provides potential for further contract renewal pending consistent hitting of production targets.

“The Aquila contract is an important contract for the company and the replacement contract provides more security for future company growth,” Bounty chairman Gary Cochrane said.
